Pancetta and sharp cheddar scones

Ingrédients

  • 2 cups of white flour
  • 1 tsp. of baking powder
  • 1/2 grated cold salted butter
  • 3/4 of cup milk
  • 1 cup of grated medium or strong cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of coarsely chopped cooked pancetta

Préparation

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.
  2. Add the butter, cheese and pancetta, mix with your hands.
  3. Then, stir in the milk until you get a paste.
  4. Form a roll and cut into 12 wedges.
  5. Line a cookie sheet with reusable parchment paper and bake at 375 F for 15 to 25 minutes.
